Dionna Doyel: Have you thought about the Cash for Clunkers incentive going on right now? Its a program designed to get people out of cars that are money pits and to get them into more econical vehicles. Possibly something you could find out if you qualify for. $3000 is a lot to spend on a used car, and you didnt mention how old, the mileage the condition etc on your car so please dont take offense - just thinking $3000 would be a great down payment on another vehicle - if you can trade it in I would look into that....Show more
Randal Deyarmond: The engine and transmission could cost as much as 3000.00 each..The catalytic converter about 300.00 -600.00two tires 100.00-300.00leaks and belts 300.00-400.00if the engine and trans are going bad, it's usually cheaper to buy a different car......Show more
Lupe Sancen: It's a 1985 and doesn't fit into the Cash for Clunkers Program (I've checked) and I can't afford high payments.
