Joellen Zorrilla: Hi, I just bought a 2000 Audi A6 for $8,300 with 78,000 miles on it (the dealer was asking $9,700) so I'd say that it's a pretty good deal. Oil change is around $80 Major tune ups like belts and pumps are around $1000, though these aren't done as often Brakes and rotors are around $200-depending on brand and where you get them. If you know how to do your own oil changes and replace your own brakes, etc you'll save yourself a lot in labor cost. Garages seem to charge a lot for foreign cars. If something breaks on it...well it's going to be a big expense..But remember these are good cars, retain their value and tend to hold up pretty well. Also, the manufacturer recommends premium gas which runs higher than other fuels so that might be something you want to think about and they don't get that best gas mileage either (compared with Honda's or Toyota's or smaller domestics)....Show more
Violette Vanek: Don't even think about this crappy car. I have had! the same one terrible car for maintenance you are going to need so much money for parts.Do not buy a Audi huge mistake.
Frederick Mccoach: Oil change will be atleast $60, especially if you have it done at the dealer. Make sure you always have the oil changed with full synthetic oil every 4,000-5,000 miles to prevent sludge build up. Tire rotations wont cost anymore than any other car. One important thing that Audi's need is their fluid flushes (transmission, radiator, brake fluid, etc) those will run you a little bit more than most other cars, but they are very important in maintaining an Audi.
Kris Bozelle: Oil changes are around $50. Gas has to be at least mid grade but you it prefers super. And every other maintenance always runs about 40-60 more than a normal car. You would be averaging about 500-1000 more a year. But I have a 2003 Audi A6 and they usually do not have a lot of problems with them because they are made to last. So you prob will not be running! into a lot of major prob for a while but if you do then it wi! ll empty your pockets.
