Video Capture Hardware?

Wally Gower: I know this may sound silly but lots of people just don't know these things; you also have to install the driver once it is downloaded. First, make sure you downloaded the correct driver and software for your make/model of webcam and then if the downloaded file ends with (.exe) double click it and follow the prompts the program gives you. If it ends with (.zip) then unzip and remember the location where you unzip it to. Go to Start/Control Panel and double click on the Add Hardware icon and then hit the Next button. (make sure the webcam is plugged in to the computer before clicking on Next.) The Add Hardware wizard should start searching for added hardware and should find the webcam and then follow the prompts and browse to the location where you saved the unzipped driver file. Once you find the driver file click the correct button for the wizard to install the driver and then when it is complete reboot your system and see if the computer acknowledges ! the webcam.
