Filiberto Ranalli: Have you tried Ultra Swim shampoo and conditioner? You can usually find it in the drug store for around $5. It's great for getting rid of green tones from copper levels in the water, and also works well for treating chlorine-damaged tresses.
Bernie Cerra: First when you get out of the pool rinse your hair out either with a garden hose or a bottle of water. Dont let your hair dry with the chlorine in it. Second read the labels of your conditioner.. you want dimithicone near the top. Dimithicone is a form of silicone that will coat and protect your hair. A good leave in conditioner like Paul Mitchel will help after you shower. Try not to use any gels/hairspray they will add to your dryness same with a blow dryer or curling iron.
Todd Stogner: They have a special shampoo/conditioner that is designed to de-chlorinate hair. I know when we had a pool we bought it a lot. Check the stores.
Bryant Chaudhry: Use ION Swimmer's Shampoo and Ion Swi! mmer's Conditioner and Clarifying Crystals. Seen this product at Sally's Beauty Supply
Keneth Mailhot: if it was me, id wash my hair then use lots of conditioner and leave it in for a good while, hour or so. IF that still doesnt work, try a leave-in deep conditioner. they do make special shampoo and conditioner to use after swimming, as a last resort. But ive never seen such as thing as too much conditioner. I have near shoulder length naturally wavy hair and i have to use lots of conditioner to make my hair combable and managable.
Buddy Ardd: purchase the shampoo specially made for hair in chlorine; there is one by nexxus called: aloe rid.... its a deep cleanser as well... use that and it will remove the chlorine from your hair, and they use Paul mitchells "super charged moisturizer" and leave it in for about 30 minutes, and rinse, and vowala! your hair will be smooth.... good luck oh yeah, and dont forget to get your hair trimmed!
