She signs the paperwork but he runs the business. I know one contactor that literally made the wife the president and he's still in the electricians union, making union wages and benefits. I fully disagree with taxpayer funded programs that purposefully discriminate against any specific group. Laws that advantage one gender are a zero sum game. Otherwise, WHY do we make laws that are necessarily punitive against men and call that equality? Even decades after we have been completely, legally equal? Is there any difference from the lemonade stand example, than advantaging women today? Bear in mind that most working women right now have NEVER suffered any type of legal discrimination since birth. We are that far along in our equal Rights, yet feminists claim that women still need help. And this is where the men; who grew up and went to school right beside these women; while all the values of equality were instilled in all of them, are expected to make it completely on their own. We are decades into full legal equality already. Yet I'll bet that the same boys operating lemonade stands today will still become demonized as "privileged" men once they become adults.
