Hermina Ketring: All I can tell you is that you don't have to spend a lot of money. Don't get anything with bright lights and fancy sounds, and don't get something with a whole lot! of parts. Babies like easy and simplistic, it keeps them entertained longer. Try big soft blocks or big toy cars that are safe for babies. I learned the hard way with my 1st one that they lose interest in the crazy expensive toys and just want to play with the box.
